Dear Team, We are pleased to announce the joining of Prasad Rao Metpally as Distribution Partner Account Manager, where he will be responsible for managing and expanding the Redington business for India & SAARC. He will be relocating to Chennai and will lead distribution sales, foster relationships, and drive business development with the RIL team. We are thrilled to have him in this role and confident that his experience, expertise and dedication will be invaluable in achieving our goals. Prasad is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience at renowned organizations such as IBM, Tata Communications and CMC Limited. He also had a stint as an entrepreneur. He has spent a total of 12 years in Cisco of which 9 years were in Sales and 3 years in Customer Success. In his last role, Prasad was a Customer Success Executive based in Mumbai and was handling key BFSI customers like SBI, RBI and Yes Bank. In his previous stint as an Account Manager in Public Sector, he was managing Telangana and Andhra Pradesh territory. He was instrumental in winning some of the marque deals like AP Fiber and T-Fiber. Prasad was recognised as a Sales Champion twice. Prasad holds a B Sc in Computer Science and an MBA in Marketing from Osmania University. Prasad is originally from Hyderabad. He is married to Shailaja and they have one son Harshit, who has recently completed his B. Tech. He likes to spend most of his free time reading , watching web series or going on long drives.
